Thank You to All Who Joined WAPPY's Rounders, Mini-Sports & Picnic Day!

After an enduring and difficult 18 months since the onset of the Covid 19 and the pandemic crisis, it was great that WAPPY (Writing, Acting & Publishing Project for Youngsters) was finally able to meet up in the community and enjoy our first outdoor activity - based event. It was so lovely to catch up with Ealing-based families and friends, existent, and new members, for a Rounders Day, Mini-Games and Picnic at Wormwood Scrubs. Thank you to all who turned up and helped to make the day so enjoyable. A special thanks to our patron, Elder Eric Huntley, staff and volunteers too! By popular demand we plan to run a second Games Day & Picnic in Gunnersbury Park very soon. More details to follow! The song played in the video is 'Paradise' by Ikson. The video above captures the best highlights from the day including Elder Eric stepping in to re-organise the balance of power in the Tug of War challenge!! Enjoy!!!
