Diwali-Celebrating the Festival of Life and Asian-Inspired Art Culture

For Lockdown Life later today Friday 27th November, 4.30 -6pm, we will continue to explore art and culture which is inspired by India and other parts of Asia.

Following on from last week’s celebration of Diwali -the Festival of Life- we are featuring our very own, Carolyn Warner, WAPPY Trustee who has created a video of her preparation and cooking of Lamb Curry & Rice! We will delve deeper into the wonders of India cuisine!

We also welcome Seema Gill, artist, poet and author of ‘Lockdown Poetry’ to WAPPY to discuss her work and anything about her Asian heritage that inspires her work. Here is Seema below and an example of her outstanding artwork, 'Garden of Eden' (also accessible via her website, Saachiart Art, (
