WAPPY would like to say a massive thanks to Seema Gill (award-winning author, artist, poet & editor) for visiting WAPPY’s recent Lockdown Life virtual platform. Seema’s talk about aspects of her life in India, Tanzania, Denmark, and the UK had us all captivated.
Thank you also to our young writers for their excellent contributions including interview questions! Seema was extremely impressed and looks forward to collaborating on a future arts project with WAPPY.
The icing on the cake was Seema’s announcement of donating 40 copies of her publication, ‘Lockdown Poetry’ to WAPPY which will support our fundraising campaign. We will one copy to our regular attendees of Lockdown Life including those involved with interviewing Seema. We hope you will buy a copy when available so we can expand our work with young people.
