Play has always been present in the history of humankind, regardless of culture or living condition but do you know why play and children’s games are so important?
Lockdown Life on Thursday 24th December from 4. 30 pm onwards will explore why play is especially important for children and young people and consider the games children have played historically around the world.
Starting off with one of our famed quizzes we will look at the history of games and toys, with a special focus on board games. After figuring out the games you like to play, we will bring a little bit of festive cheer by playing some of your favourite games via zoom. So get ready and bring it on!
