May 21st 2021 WAPPY was delighted to welcome, Vern Smith, Language Tutor and Akuba's friend & collegue to Lockdown Life for a France & French-themed workshop. A massive and heartfelt thanks to Vern for delivering a fun, informative and visually-engaging France & French/themed Lockdown Life workshop last Friday. Her outstanding and generous preparation and family-friendly input meant that each young person and adult participant could access familiar and new knowledge as well as basic French conversational skills in a highly creative, dynamic and customised way. We had really positive feedback, including this comment from Carolyn Warner, “That was a really good French session, really fun and informative!”. A video to follow after consent is given. It was such a fabluous experience!
